We always welcome new members. Most visitors attend a few services to see if the congregation is right for them before they make the commitment. Becoming a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Ligonier Valley (UUFLV) is very simple. One only needs to “sign the book.”
Upon joining, the new member has the option of participating in a brief Welcoming Ceremony or just having the board president make a simple announcement at the service. Each new member (or each family group) receives a packet with a welcome letter, a copy of the UUFLV Bylaws, What Do UU’sBelieve wallet card,a UUFLV member list, and a Committee Booklet with a list of officers, committee chairs, a description of committees as well as other activities and tasks that members can participate in.
