Purpose: To join with other spiritual communities on this day around the globe, to focus our thoughts, prayers, attention and intention on the Earth and all who call this sacred sphere home.
Bring: A favorite poem, reading or words of wisdom about the earth and the web of life, and a chair (or you may sit at a picnic table). Please dress warmly, wear a mask and bring a friend if you like!
Directions to Park:
*To get to the Park from the East: Take Rt.30
W to Rt. 982 S toward Youngstown. Turn right
at the light in Youngstown. Look for the
Ballfields on the right. The entrance to the
Park is on the right as you come down the hill
leaving the Borough.
*To get to the Park from the West: Take 30 E to
Rt. 981 S. toward the Airport. At the first light
on 981 S, turn left onto Arnold Palmer Drive.
Pass the Country Club on the right and the
entrance to Greater Latrobe Jr/Sr. High School
on your left. Look for the Ballfields. The
entrance to the Park is on the left.
Once you reach the Park, drive all the way
back on the gravel road in the Park. The
shelter is at the very end of the road with
parking there and it also has a handicapped ramp.
